All products purchased on PensGear.com will be shipped via United Parcel Service (UPS) with the exception of Manufacturer Direct and Penguins Authentics items. At checkout, you will be given two shipping options, Standard or 2nd day. You can also track your order on the UPS website.

 

Shipping Promotions

At various times, PensGear.com may offer promotions that allow for discounted shipping rates.  These promotions could be noted as “Free Shipping”.

  • Free Shipping promotions apply only to UPS Standard shipments. Other shipping methods (i.e. 2nd Day) are not included in these promotions unless noted as such.
  • Orders to Alaska and Hawaii will ship via UPS 2nd day and are therefore not included in the shipping promotions unless noted as such.
  • International orders may warrant additional Customs entry fees which are not included in the shipping fee. Air Waybill invoice will be sent to recipient via UPS.
  • Penguins Authentics items are boxed and shipped separately from PensGear.com items, and are typically boxed individually to ensure safety during shipping. There is a flat shipping cost attached to each Penguins Authentics item for that reason.
  • Free Shipping promotions do not apply to Penguins Authentics items.

 

Pickup In-Store

PPG Paints Arena Location During Normal Operating Hours *You will receive an email confirmation once your order is ready to be picked up. Items must be picked up within 5 days of purchase, abandoned orders will be refunded and returned to inventory. For pickup during Monday-Friday games, orders must be placed by 12:00pm. For Saturday & Sunday games, orders must be placed by Friday at 12:00pm.

Manufacturer Direct Products

Manufacturer Direct items ship directly from the product manufacturers to the customer. These items take 7-14 business days for processing, manufacturing, and shipping. Expedited shipping is not available for these items. These items will ship separate from any other items purchased from PensGear.com. Manufacturer Direct items are only available to ship within the United States. Orders may be canceled depending on item availability. 

 

Service Areas

Upon order approval, PensGear.com will ship to any valid street address within in our shipping area via UPS Standard or 2nd Day service. Alaska and Hawaii will only ship UPS 2nd day service and not UPS Express Saver.

  • PensGear.com recommends shipping to an address/location where someone is available to receive the delivery (such as a business address).
  • PensGear.com cannot be responsible for packages delivered to unattended address.
  • PensGear.com cannot ship to a P.O. Box or APO/FPO/DPO Boxes.
  • PensGear.com cannot ship to freight forwarders and reserves the right to cancel orders shipped to one of these addresses.
  • Penguins Authentics items are only eligible for domestic shipping at this time.

 

Weekends and Holidays

PensGear.com does not ship items on weekends (Saturday – Sunday).  Our eCommerce warehouse will also be closed for shipping on the following Holidays:

  • Memorial Day
  • Labor Day
  • July 4th
  • Thanksgiving
  • Christmas
  • New Years Day

 

Transit Times

  • UPS Standard orders are shipped Monday – Friday (excluding holidays) and typically leave our ecommerce warehouse 48 to 72 hours from the time your order is placed.
  • UPS Standard orders received on Friday – Sunday will usually ship the following Monday / Tuesday (excluding holidays).
  • Orders requested via UPS 2nd Day should arrive in two business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after leaving the PensGear.com warehouse.
  • The NHL has certain rules regarding the picking up or dropping off packages on game days at hockey arenas. These rules may prevent UPS from picking up packages on home game days. This means that your package may not leave our facility the same day it was packaged, regardless of order expediency.
  • Orders must be placed by 11am (ET) Monday – Friday to be eligible for that day’s 2nd day shipments. Orders placed over the weekend will not be shipped until Monday.
  • Customers will receive a ship notification via email once they complete an order.  This will provide the customer with the option to track the delivery of your order.
  • Penguins Authentics orders are shipped separately via FedEx and are fulfilled as soon as possible. Please allow extra time for these unique items to be packed and shipped with care.
